I found the course extremely helpful especially as i am a beginner. Lisa is excellent at explaining which is important when you are starting out. She has made me understand the importance of finding the right niche and that to me is where most of us go wrong. I am extremely grateful for a course like this and would like to take this opportunity to thank you Lisa for creating a course that helps others! – Michelle

Now next, you’ll want to pick a WordPress theme from somewhere like ThemeForest, Elegant Themes or OptimizePress. This is the barebones design of your site, which you can then customize with your own branding, copy, and images. That being said, you don’t want to cheap out. It costs less than $100 to buy a theme that will make your website look professional (and you can upgrade to a completely custom design once you get the business going).

Blogging is something that requires patience, persistence and discipline. It may mean writing everyday for over a year before you really start to see any money from it. There are exceptions to the rule, but from my dealings with other bloggers, it seems to be pretty common to spend one or even two years building your blog, your brand and your authority, before making any serious amount of money.
A general rule is to choose a product with Gravity score of at least 20. If you can find one of more than 50, even better. But be careful when you get into the triple digits. This means that the product is having strong competition, so make sure you’re prepared. You can also read reviews of products to measure public opinion. Are there a lot of complaints? Are there enough amounts of refunds? Make sure the answer is no.
Alibaba is a Chinese eCommerce store that matches Chinese suppliers with buyers all over the world. Prices are extremely cheap, providing the possibility of large profits. However, with the potential profits comes more risk. As you are dealing with suppliers in China, if the quality of the product that arrives isn’t up to standard there is little that you can do about it.
Once you sign up to become an affiliate with ClickBank, you will immediately be able to browse the different products available to sell. ClickBank has tens of thousands of products available, so in the beginning it's helpful to search by niche and commission percentage until you locate offers that you want to promote. Make sure you take the time to look at the vendor's sales page before promoting their product. They might be offering a 75% commission rate, but if their website doesn't look trustworthy or put together you aren't going to generate many sales, no matter how much traffic you drive their way.
So, I put together a free master course for you to take that spreads out all of the work involved in starting a blog, into a series of action-packed lessons. What a great post mate. This is brilliant for newbies who are struggling to get a start and build up some confidence in their ability to become successful.Just getting those first few sign ups and a sale or two is very inspiring when you are starting out.You make some good points about giving value first and then gently selling your offer, too many marketers like to sell, sell, sell…. This drives me nuts,so I guess it happens to most potential customers.I hope to get more brilliant content from you in emails in the future to help me build my business.
But don't make the mistake of thinking this will be a passive source of income—you're on call whenever you have a guest and you'll always need to keep the place clean for incoming visitors. On top of just renting on Airbnb, consider offering your guests paid add-ons, like Lauren Gheysens', Royal Day Out in London, England—where she gives visitors a local's only tour of the city, complete with bespoke 18th century costumes.
If you have a fondness and talent for taking pictures you can make extra money online by becoming a stock photographer and selling your images to a stock photo company like ShutterStock or iStockPhoto. yes I am aware of the search button as I posted. I am looking for direction and I want to "cut to the chase" I am not interested in spending months sifting through every single post about affiliate marketing trying to figure out what is good information and what is useless (as I am sure there are tons of useless posts and mis information) not to mention outdated information.
It’s one of the oldest and most proven ways to make money – buy low, sell high. The buy low part comes from searching garage sales, estate sales, and even thrift stores to find items that are in good condition (“gently used”) but selling well below what they would if they were brand-new. In this way, you might be able to acquire an item for $5, and later sell it for $50.

Etsy: While Etsy's popularity has declined recently, it's still a great resource for selling handmade items online. No need for complex ecommerce sites or merchant accounts or any sort of automation. The company takes a commission of every sale and charges a small listing fee per item. But many still use Etsy as their primary source of income. The best part is that you can also sell digital products on here such as poster designs.
Running and charging for webinars can be a great way to build a following in your niche, demonstrate that you are an expert in your field, and make a profit. Hosting a webinar can be hard work. They need to first be promoted, provide original and valuable information, and include interactive elements so your audience can ask questions and engage with your topic. However, once you have built up a large blog following, each webinar can be extremely profitable.
Have you ever noticed that every “make money online” product claims to have “proven” success? Often times, they show pictures of people standing next to mansions and Ferarri’s holding checks with 6 figure amounts written on them, or you might see generic “testimonials” from people with names like “John Smith from New York”. When you see this type of thing, RUN AWAY!

Yeah I have finally after a couple years decided to find a couple products and promote them. No sales! I’d love it if this worked but nothing so far. I have to give it more time. I am promoting on backpage. I go through the ads to see whats popular. One thing I’ve noticed on Backpage is that most of the people that are making money from the services or products they are offering post pretty often. They keep their ads alive. They know it’s their money maker so they post a lot and they’ve found ways to keep their ads from getting flagged AND more importantly they’ve found ways to keep their competitors ads flagged and removed. So if I am going to get pretty serious about clickbank I’m running to Backpage and Craigslist which I’ve done and observe what’s being posted all the time. It’s basic but I’ve seen results with a couple other things I promoted. (My own services)
Let me add a comment and an idea about Chris Farrell. His teaching method is very good. He goes one step at a time; his video library is extensive; the fee for his Membership site is well worth it. I have two monitors and it's a snap to watch/listen to his videos on one and follow the instructions on the other. With the stop/go feature on the videos, it makes it real simple for an Idaho Farm Boy.
Running a coupons website can be very lucrative. Find a coupon niche, select a WordPress coupon theme, and then display relevant coupons on your site. When your audience uses the coupon codes or discount links, you will earn an affiliate cut, for example, you could set-up a site dedicated to iHerb Coupons or add a page to your website with Web Hosting Promo Codes. Coupon websites are quite high maintenance as they need to be constantly updated with new offers. However, if you build up an engaged audience and allow them to post coupons and discounts they have found themselves, then quite quickly your workload will reduce.
I, too, have always looked at ClickBank as a secondary and even tertiary monetization source. But it can be a great sources of revenue. I linked one of my articles to a related product on CB, and without really doing promotion or anything unusual, I get a few sales a week. Mind you, the keyword(s) for the post aren’t that huge either. So, even though the traffic not huge on that post, it still manages to get some sales.
