This is similar in concept to micro-tasks, except that it is oriented toward specific services, such as cleaning services, pest inspection, handyman services, house cleaning, lawn & garden services or any of the skilled trades. It might actually be more accurate to say that it is a platform where skilled service providers can offer their services to site visitors, similar to Angie’s List.
The music industry might not be as strong as it was in the 80s, but there are still plenty of ways to make money online as a musician. Sites like SoundBetter let you sell your services as a songwriter, producer, or session musician to thousands of customers a month. While Musicbed, Music Vine, Marmoset, and SongFreedom are perfect for licensing your music to TV shows, movies, and web series.
If you’re looking for great examples of people making good money on ClickBank, check out this post by AuthorityHackers as they detail the strategy they followed to make thousands of dollars on ClickBank every month. Warren Wheeler of AMNinjas also recently wrote case study explaining how he was able to bring a brand new affiliate website from $0 to $300+ per day in less than 3 months with ClickBank. Both of these posts discuss relatively different strategies. I’m actually going to get into both of those strategies as well as my recommended path to follow for beginners (and why I think beginners should follow it).
If you need to “make money quickly” then I don’t recommend starting any kind of business. Making money in business rarely happens fast, especially for newbies. Also, it would be a shot in the dark to look for someone who will train you to run your business and only accept a “fee” after you start earning money. They’d rather just build the business themselves!
Don’t get me wrong, I dabble a little in social media marketing too and recommend all new bloggers to get social, but the stats for visitors from social are completely different to people landing on my site through search results. They spend more time on site, have a higher click through rate and engage more overall. Why? Because people use sites like Facebook and Twitter to casually browse the web and they’re just no in the ‘buying mindset’. Compare this to someone searching online with a question you can answer, with a problem you can offer a solution for – can you see how it’s completely different?
Every ClickBank product has a commission rate that is set by the vendor, ranging from 1% to 75%. When you drive a sale to that product, ClickBank processes the sale, applies its charges, then calculates the commission rate based on the remaining net sale amount. Here's an example of how much you'll earn on a one-time purchase product with a 55% commission rate:
